Making a budget allows one to control his finances instead of his finances controlling him. Usually, among Filipinos, we go out to the malls and buy stuff during a midnight sale thinking that we save money when we buy something that is on sale. That need to be qualified, though. We save money when we buy something that is on sale when it is included in our plan or budget. If it isn’t, then we just spent the money spontaneously. Always remember to plan your spending.
