Upholding Justice
Proverbs 29:7 “The righteous care about justice for the poor, but the wicked have no such concern.â€
Those who uphold justice and fight for the poor, like a judge who does not look at a person’s financial standing, or a Mesothelioma lawyer who fights for his client’s right especially when his clients are up against big companies, are looked at by God as practicing doing what is right.
This is something that, as believers, we should be conscious about – fighting for justice for the poor. Sometimes we believers only concern ourselves with a person’s spiritual condition and neglect their immediate needs.
Why not follow our Master’s footsteps who dealt with people’s immediate needs and use the moment to bring out their real need? You can start by being a hero to the people who need your help. It may give you opportunities to share your faith.

I totally agree. Immediate needs met first, before the REAL need of Jesus.
