Deuteronomy 18:10-12a “Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, 11 or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. 12 Anyone who does these things is detestable to the LORD…”

During halloween, people all around party and take the time to have some celebration of some sort and taking lightly the things they get involved in during these times of partying. Television shows feature stories of the supernatural and, lately, have started to make those involved in the spirit world heroes. BUt the Bible is clear about its stand on these and the passage above is a reminder for all of us how God is serious about these matters that we take lightly of.
