Verse of the Day: 11/08/08
John 14:6 “Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’”
Jsesus’ claim in this passage is very strong. It is like saying that all others are wrong and He is right. And He is. And the many of the Israelites during His time got angry at Him for that and crucified Him. The religious leaders tagged Him as blasphemous. But Jesus never explained or argued with them, because He didn’t have to. He was God.
Being right naturally offends others in the wrong, especially those who want to remain in their wrong ways. So do not be surprised if people persecute you because our Master was also. But, you do not have to fight back because they are spiritually blinded. Just pray for them, that God would open their spiritual eyes and remove the blindness so that they may start to see the truth.
