Passage of the Day: 11/26/08

Joshua 24:15 “But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.”
Joshua was a man of will. During the time when the Israelites sent spies to scout the land that God wanted for the Israelites to claim, He was one of the only two who chose to believe in God. And He was rewarded by God by letting Him lead the Israelites in claiming the promised land.
He served God no matter what the circumstances were. He did not give any excuse but willed to do the right thing no matter what.
How about you? Have you been making excuses to God? Or will you choose to do the right thing?
