Anti-Virus Software Importance

Protecting your files from virus is an essential. I have had experiences when I had to reformat my whole hard drive because it was too infected by virus and cannot be healed.
Since then, I have always installed a free scanning software or anti-virus in my laptops and PCs. I also developed the habit of backing up my files and putting them in an external hard drive so that if my PCs drive gets infected again, I can isolate it and not let it affect my other important files.
