What Is the Best Gift to Give to God?
What is the best gift that anyone can give to God? That is a question that many Christians ask especially during this Christmas season when Jesus’ birth is being celebrated – the time when God introduced His best gift to us.
Answering the question of what the best gift to give to God is difficult because, after all, God already has everything. He owns the universe and can have what He wants. Giving Him offerings, titanium bracelets for men or other material stuff is not enough.
Romans 12:1 says, “Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God — this is your spiritual act of worship.” It implies that offering our lives as living sacrifices pleases God. So live your life for God because that is the best gift that you can give Him.
