The Potter and The Clay

How many times have you heard or read this popular sentence: “I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soul”? People use this as a clause that they are in control of their lives and no one can stand in the way. What they do not know is that God is the Potter and his creation is the clay.
However you may want to view it, molding of a good craft does not take overnight. It’s like buying your preferred item. Even if you have 2012 pottery barn coupons, still, the maker will ask you to wait for the product to be ready. That’s how it is with Christians. It takes time for one to get molded. Every layer is focused on. At times, they pot gets broken but the powerful hands of the Potter will never get tired until he becomes whole.
