What Ministry Is All About
Oftentimes, your self can be the most powerful hindrance to serving God. How? Your way of thinking holds you back from helping inside the church or assisting in Sunday School. You think you are too old for youth so you don’t give a hand. The feeling that you cannot do anything i.e sing, play instrument, teach children, or even cook, makes you wonder how are you going to serve God. What can you do? What can you share in His Kingdom?
Ministry is meeting others’ needs in love. Everything can be a form of ministry as long as you do it for God with your whole heart. It’s not in the place. Serving isn’t limited within the boundaries of a church building alone. Whether you are talking to your friends giving them godly advice, drying up picnic table covers, or washing the dishes, providing you do it to glory God, is serving at its best. So don’t let your minds and emotions get in the way of moving into God’s direction and function as a worthy Christian.
